As a Youth Empowerment and Peace-building Organization, AYEPO has always strived to not only empower the Youth with the training and skills they need to become agents of peace, but to also provide them with a dynamic platform to exchange ideas, talk about the problems they face and go through sensitive processes together in a safe and conducive way. In this way they are supported and encouraged to draw upon these vital tools for peace building and to come up with insightful and unique solutions playing active roles in addressing the challenges they face on collective and individual levels.
These processes have taken shape through the dedication and efforts of our committed members. As we expand our peace-building work, we are excited to welcome young people who hold a keen interest in peace-building so that we may work together towards a violence free society whilst empowering our fellow youth; bringing positive changes into their lives and communities.
As a member, you will be given the opportunity to partake in the various trainings we offer: Leadership training, soft skills development; Conflict Resolution/Management and mediation trainings.
These opportunities will empower our members with vital skills and experiences that will make a valuable contribution towards their professional and personal needs. You will not only see their practical application in your daily life, but also be equipped to transfer them to your homes, schools and communities.
Furthermore, as a member for AYEPO, you will meet many young people who come from diverse backgrounds, enabling you to create a network of like-minded people with whom you can work together towards peace and social harmony, some will even become your lifelong friends.
